【摘要】:ThisBritishStandardspecifiesperformancerequirementsandtestmethodsforathiefresistantmechanicallyoperatedsingle-pointlockassembly(includinglockingplates,fixingscrews,fittinginstructions,cylindersandprotectivefurniturewhereappropriate)that:a)incorporatesalockconformingtoBSEN12209fieldofdoorapplicationgradesA,B,C,D,E,ForJ,i.e.alockthatcanalwaysbeunlockedfromtheinsidewithoutakeytherebyonlyallowingkeylessegress;andb)isusedindoors,windowdoorsandentrancedoorsinbuildings.Thisstandarddoesnotcoverthiefresistantlockassembliesthatonlyallowegressusingaremovablekey,orlockassembliesthatprovideasecure(noegress)modeinadditiontokeylessegress.NOTE1Thiefresistantlockassembliesthatonlyallowegressusingakeyorassembliesthatprovideasecure(noegress)modeinadditiontokeylessegressarespecifiedinseparatestandards,BS3621andBS10621(respectively),becausetheyaresufficientlydifferentintermsofwhattheyofferformeansofescape(fromfire)andsecurity.NOTE2Itispossiblethatlockassembliesconformingtothisstandardarenotsuitableforuseondoorsconstructedfromcertaintypesofmaterial,e.g.plasticoraluminium.Themarkingonthepackagingofthelockassemblywillprovidethisinformationinaccordancewith9.2.NOTE3AlockorlatchassemblyconformingtothisstandardcanbeincludedaspartofanexitdevicethatconformstoBSEN179orBSEN1125.
