【摘要】:ThetestmethodsareintendedtoprovideameansforevaluatingthedurabilityofECWsasdescribedin1.2.1,2,5(SeeAppendixX1).1.1Thesetestmethodscovertheacceleratedagingandmonitoringofthetime-dependentperformanceofelectrochromicwindows.Crosssectionsoftypicalelectrochromicwindowsareshowninwhichdeviceshavefourorfive-layersofcoatingsthatincludethetwoorthreeactivelayerssandwichedbetweentransparentconductingelectrodes(TCEs,seeSection).1.2Thetestmethodsareapplicableonlyformultilayered(twoormorecoatingsbetweentheTCEs)absorptiveelectrochromiccoatingsonsealedinsulatingglass(IG)unitsfabricatedforvisionglass(superstrateandsubstrate)areasforuseinbuildings,suchasslidingdoors,windows,skylights,andexteriorwallsystems.Themultilayersusedforelectrochromicallychangingtheopticalpropertiesmaybeinorganicororganicmaterialsbetweenthesuperstrateandsubstrate.1.3Theelectrochromiccoatingsusedinthistestmethodareexposedtosolarradiationandaredeployedtocontroltheamountofradiationbyabsorptionandreflectionandthus,limitthesolarheatgainandamountofsolarradiationthatistransmittedintothebuilding.1.4Thetestmethodsarenotapplicabletootherchromogenicdevices,suchas,photochromicandthermochromicdevices.1.5Thetestmethodsarenotapplicabletoelectrochromicdevicesconsistingofthreelayersofcoatingsincludingthetwotransparentconductingelectrodes(seeSection3).1.6Thetestmethodsarenotapplicabletoelectrochromicwindowsthatareconstructedfromsuperstrateorsubstratematerialsotherthanglass.1.7Thetestmethodsreferencedhereinarelaboratorytestsconductedunderspecifiedconditions.Thesetestsareintendedtosimulateand,insomecases,toalsoaccelerateactualin-serviceuseoftheelectrochromicwindows.Resultsfromthesetestscannotbeusedtopredicttheperformancewithtimeofin-serviceunitsunlessactualcorrespondingin-servicetestshavebeenconductedandappropriateanalyseshavebeenconductedtoshowhowperformancecanbepredictedfromtheacceleratedagingtests.1.8ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
