【摘要】:5.1Thistestmethodisintendedasaperformancetesttoprovidetheuserwithasetofdesignvaluesforthetestconditionsexamined.5.1.1Thetestmethodisapplicabletoallgeosyntheticsandallsoilswhenloadedinacyclicmanner.5.1.2Thistestmethodproducestestdata,whichcanbeusedinthedesignofgeosynthetic-reinforcedpavementstructuresorinapplicationswheregeosyntheticsaresubjectedtocyclicloads.5.1.3Thetestresultsmayalsoprovideinformationrelatedtothein-soilstress-strainresponseofageosyntheticunderconfinedloadingconditions.5.2Informationderivedfromthistestmaybeafunctionofsoilgradation,plasticity,as-placeddryunitweight,moisturecontent,lengthandsurfacecharacteristicsofthegeosyntheticandothertestparameters.Therefore,resultsareexpressedintermsoftheactualtestconditions.Thetestmeasurestheneteffectofacombinationofinterfaceshearmechanisms,whichmayvarydependingontypeofgeosyntheticspecimen,embedmentlength,relativeopeningsize,soiltype,displacementrate,normalstress,andotherfactors.5.3Informationbetweenlaboratoriesonprecisionisincomplete.Incasesofdispute,comparativeteststodetermineifthereisastatisticalbiasbetweenlaboratoriesmaybeadvisable.1.1Thistestmethoddetailshowcyclicloadingisappliedtogeosyntheticsembeddedinsoiltodeterminetheapparentstiffnessofthesoil杇eosyntheticinterface.1.2Resilientinterfaceshearstiffnessdescribestheshearstiffnessbetweenageosyntheticanditssurroundingsoilunderconditionsofsmallcyclicloads.1.3Thistestmethodisintendedtoprovidepropertiesfordesign.Thetestmethodwasdevelopedformechanisticempiricalpavementdesignmethodsrequiringinputoftheresilientinterfaceshearstiffness.Theuseofthisparameterfromthistestmethodforotherapplicationsinvolvingcyclicloadingshouldbeevaluatedonacase-by-casebasis.Itcanalsobeusedtocomparedifferentgeosynthetics,soiltypes,etc.,andtherebybeusedasaresearchanddevelopmenttestprocedure.1.4ThevaluesstatedineitherSIunitsorinch-poundunitsaretoberegardedseparatelyasstandard.Thevaluesstatedineachsystemmaynotbeexactequivalents;therefore,eachsystemshallbeusedindependentlyoftheother.Combiningvaluesfromthetwosystemsmayresultinnon-conformancewiththestandard.1.5Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.Thisstandardmayinvolvehazardousmaterials,andequipment.
