【摘要】:Thisspecificationdefinesperformancerequirementsforheadgearusedforparticipationinthesportofsoccer.Thetechnicalrequirementsinthisspecificationdonotaddresstheadministrativerequirementsofsoccergoverningbodies,soitshouldnotbeassumedthatanyheadgearsatisfyingthisspecificationwillbeacceptableforuseinsanctionedsoccerevents.Thisspecificationisintendedtoreducetheforcesfromexternalphysicalsourcesreachingthedefinedimpactareaoftheheadinimpactsthatmayoccurinthesportofsoccer.Noheadgearcanprovideprotectionagainstallimpacts,foreseeableornot.Thisspecificationdoesnotaddressthepotentialforinjuryfromanytypeofimpact.Thetestsspecifiedinthisspecificationarelaboratorysimulationtestsonly,anddonotpurporttocreatesituationsidenticaltotheimpactsthatmayoccurduringtheplayingofsoccer.AlltestingandrequirementsofthisspecificationshallbeinaccordancewithTestMethodsF1446,exceptwherenotedherein.IntheeventofadiscrepancybetweentherequirementsofthisspecificationandthoseofTestMethodsF1446,thisspecificationshallprevail.Partialutilizationofthisspecificationisprohibited.Anystatementofcompliancewiththisspecificationshallbeacertificationthattheheadgearmeetsalloftherequirementsofthisspecificationinitsentirety.Headgearthatfailstomeetanyoneoftherequirementsofthisspecificationisconsideredtohavefailedthespecificationandshouldnotbesoldwithanyindicationthatitmeetspartsofthespecification.ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
